Krystal Weigl

Krystal Weigl is a lawyer, author, and wellness enthusiast. Her primary focus has always been community and improving her hometown of St. Louis (Go Cards!). With the BiState Law Center she works with business owners to protect and develop their pursuits, fighting for clients in the firm’s Personal Injury, Business Law, Real Estate and Intellectual Property practice areas.

Krystal has practiced law around the country and called Syracuse, Washington DC, Chicago, and St. Louis home. Her former practice life includes medical malpractice, civil rights, pharmaceutical litigation, domestic violence, and intellectual property.

Following Krystal’s career in litigating on behalf of people injured in Illinois, she left private practice to begin a new initiative: making legal information accessible for entrepreneurs. She is co-founder of the tech platform, Legal GPS. Since joining the BiState Law Center, Krystal is back in the courtroom, applying the lessons she learned as an entrepreneur and business owner to achieve results for clients

She’s a proud alumna of Illinois State University and Syracuse University College of Law. At Syracuse, Krystal could usually be found practicing, coaching, or strategizing mock trial competitions.”

She’s a lawyer because she wants to make the law more useful for those it’s meant to protect. She’s launched countless initiatives, contributed hundreds of pro bono hours, and volunteered with dozens of organizations in pursuit of this mission. Leveling the playing field is her passion project.
